A Global Community of Teachers and Students
The quality of education depends predominantly on the quality of our teachers. We recognise the outstanding work of all teachers globally, and The aHHa movement is dedicated to training and providing resources for teachers in less fortunate areas. This includes fundraising for incentives and resources for our teachers, as well as sharing creative lessons or learning resources that are beneficial in a range of learning contexts.
The aHHa Movement is an idea that began in 2014 to spread the movement of quality education for all. The idea began on an immersion in South Africa in 2013 where Sasha observed some of the most disadvantaged and poorly resourced schools. After travelling through seven more African countries in 2014, the aHHa Movement truly begun.
The aHHa movement is a group of students and educators working together, through raising awareness, fundraising and volunteering we ensure that educational resources get to the schools that need it most. Opening our eyes, realising how important education truly is and how each of us can learn from each other.
Social Justice and Service Learning Opportunities
We encourage children and adults globally to take on opportunities that matter to them, thinking globally and acting locally. We connect partnerships between schools and communities. We are available to consult with schools and to encourage projects and share of all the successes.
